1. THREADS: Share a recent quote you read or saw on socials that got you thinking about life or business in a new way. It could be inspirational, intellectual, or just funny. Because here’s the thing about Threads, the algorithm shows your posts to SO MANY PEOPLE and all it takes is someone reading and resonating with ONE of your posts for them to follow & then follow on IG. Now they’re seeing & consuming your business posts and inquiring about your services/buying your products and if you asked them, “How did you find me?” They might not even remember. That’s what’s so cool about branding and socials — it really is about how you made someone feel when they engaged with your content.
  2. THREADS: Share a recent client win or product review that gave you the warm & fuzzies (screenshot or type it out with “”). Then add commentary about why this particular message made you feel the way it did. It could be as simple as “it was a reminder that I’m good at my job” or something about your process, quality, [insert anything here]. Bonus points if you tag the person who said it (so they can comment & share). Not only is this a humble brag toot toot but it’s sending a subtle message that, “Hey, you’d be silly not to come check out what I do/offer.” And thanks to Thread’s algorithm, people who would NEVER see these posts on your IG Stories will see them here.
  3. THREADS: “Hot takes” and “unpopular opinions” are out (ok, nothing is OUT but people are tired of them). Instead, try a “I can’t stop thinking about [xxxxx]” post. It can be something related to business, life, or one of your personal brand pillars. The goal is to start a conversation, increase engagement, and either share a piece of value OR share a piece of your personality (depending on the post). For example, “I can’t stop thinking about Google’s new SEO rules & how they’ll change everything for XXXX.” This sparks an industry-related conversation and gives you an opportunity to educate. Or, “I can't stop thinking about the fact that my dog ate the cover of my all-time favorite book & proceeded to put himself in his kennel when I caught him.” This works for me because my animals are a huge piece of my personal brand and so is reading — plus, it’s funny and people will likely share their own similar stories.
  4. Threads: Share a mini-case study of a recent client's success. Start with a hook like, "How we helped [client type/consumer type] achieve [impressive result] in [timeframe]." Then, break down the process into 3-5 steps, focusing on the key strategies you used. End with a CTA for similar businesses that want to achieve the same results. This showcases your expertise, provides social proof, and attracts potential clients who see themselves in the case study. If you’re a product seller, you could say something more along the lines of, “How we solved [common problem] with our [type of product].”
  5. Threads: "Let's talk about the myth that [X]." Start a conversation about a common industry myth or misconception. (Example: Let’s talk about the myth that photography is ‘just taking photos’”) Then, debunk it with facts, personal experiences, and client/customer examples. In this example, you might share all of the other skills photographers possess and the tasks they have to do in order to produce quality work. Invite others to comment their own thoughts and experiences around the topic. This type of post often sparks engaging discussions and positions you as a thought leader in your field.
  6. Threads: "Trend Forecast." Share your predictions for upcoming trends in your industry. Back each prediction with data or observations from your work. Invite followers to share their thoughts, creating a discussion that positions you as a forward-thinking expert while inviting other POVs (the key is being open to respectfully hearing other people out).
